I found Patricia through Benjamin Moore as I was struggling to pick paint colors for my home. Right now, my home has 3 different colors which I have hated and lived with for 12 years. I rented my home for 6 of those years and now it is in desperate need of TLC. I just could not take the plunge to spend that much money and not be happy with the result.
I am so glad I called Patricia as she was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her.
I wanted to share my experience to hopefully help others who (as I was) maybe a bit apprehensive at color selection.
After all, selecting someone to welcome into your home to listen… hopefully… to what you are wanting and help, select and arrange the look and feel of what you will live with every day for several years to come is a careful decision for some, I know it was for me.
And in a nutshell, Patricia is an active listener who combined her exceptional interior color expertise and skills combined with my individual preferences created an outcome that was both warm and refreshing while reflecting my personality. I can sincerely say that I will be looking forward to coming home and enjoying my updated space every day.
Being ill for so long Patricia listened to my story and knew that my bedroom needed to be something special, so when I open my eyes every morning and close them every night, I felt warmth and comfort. The color Weston Flax did just that for me.
She also understood that down the road my home might be rented, so she worked with me on a painted color which brighten up my home, matched the interior finishing and still gave it the updated look. I was also going to replace the carpets with Vinyl flooring and Patricia helped with picking out the perfect color for the vinyl floors and insured the wall color would compliment with new flooring.
I believe in a few months once the painting will be completed there will be that “pinch me can’t believe this is my home feeling!” just like the day I purchased this home.

Patricia was a joy to work with! Very friendly and super knowledgeable! She gave great direction in not only paint colours but she has vast experience with flooring, fireplaces and backsplashes. We had a lot of questions and with her experience she was able to guide us into the right direction for our choices for materials for our renos. She was able to make my husband feel included with his preferences and at the same time explain why some choices might not be a right fit on a design level. She has a great eye for design and listens to what your wants and your own personal style. I would highly recommend her!

We used Patricia’s services because we were getting the interior of our house painted and two hours of her time was included in the price. We found her so congenial and useful that we hired her for additional time to tie up some loose ends. It was money well spent. I had expected someone rather pretentious who would just float through our house breathlessly assigning colours to the different rooms. I was amazed at how down-to-earth she was and how she listened, while clearly knowledgeable and professional. I had told her which line of paint we were planning to use and she came prepared with a collection of large colour boards, making it easy to visualize a particular colour in a room, all organized according to undertones, and knew which colour combinations worked in our house. She integrated my preferences and my husband’s favourite colour with the style of our home, furnishings and lifestyle while providing a look that would be considered current. My husband and I both recommend Patricia and plan to use her services again.

Patricia first assisted me in staging my large home in Aspen Meadows for sale. Using mostly items we had in all new ways, we loved it and regretted not having her "stage" the home for us living there! I decided with my new house I would get her design advice from the start.
Since we downsized to our new home, we needed new furniture of the right scale for our family room. Again mixing items I had along with new, and respecting my budget, she created entirely different looks and new sophisticated color schemes that I could have never come up with on my own. She gave advice on renovating my kitchen, adding a beautiful banquette & changing the feel of the room. Again we loved it and received (and still receive) so many compliments. Two years after completing my family room and kitchen, I still open my front door and am in love with the space.
Since that time, she has given me some easy upgrades such as wallpaper, painting an existing vanity, changing wall colors and updating the bedding and accessories to my bedroom and ensuite, to take it from dated and boring to creative and cozy until I have the budget for a full scale renovation.
This past winter I hired Patricia for a design consultation on the basement we never used. It was dark, dated and uninviting with an awkward layout, including a corner fireplace, L shaped room and a big brown leather sectional. Despite having 3 teenage boys, the room was never used.
Patricia brought in her talented contractor, Richard, and together they came up with a plan to make the room make sense. We added a wall, beautiful barn doors to hide our fitness equipment, configured a new furniture layout with zones for playing games, watching movies and entertaining. Furniture, new drapery and all new accessories were chosen. The fireplace was completely redesigned by removing the existing pinky beige tiles, mantle and large hearth and replaced with Calcutta gold porcelain tiles. The space is bright, contemporary, fun and practical for my family. We have now used the space every single day since the reno was complete. I can't believe it's the same basement!
Patricia is incredibly talented. her years of experience in all aspects of the design industry - from furniture to kitchens to window coverings and fireplaces - is invaluable in advising her clients on all their options and estimating costs. She has an inate design sense and truly listens to the needs of the client to create a space that will fit your family and lifestyle. In our case, having three boys and a large dog was always in the back of her mind for her selections.
Most of all, Patricia is a pleasure to work with and a lot of fun. I am always sad when our design project comes to an end. Many of her clients are now friends. I have recommended her to my friends and they all love her. I highly recommend her services for your next design project or for refreshing your space to make you love it again.
